T.I. is Back!!
Tip "T.I." Harris is due to come out of a Halfway House this month!! I can't wait for his comeback :- During a recent conference call, he told insiders that his new album will be released on August 24th. We will also be seeing his first film “Takers” through Grand Hustle Films on August 20th. (with a star-studded cast featuring: Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, Zoe Saldana and Hayden Christensen)
In the mean time in between time, he has released the first record from his new album “I’m Back” online today. He says that this is not the first official single. Just something to get the streets buzzing

My Creativity Is Not A Waste Of Time
So, this is one of my favorite acceptance speeches from last night's Oscar Awards.

Thank you, guys. When I was… I was nine and I asked my dad, “Can I have your movie camera? That old, wind-up 8 millimeter camera that was in your drawer?” And he goes, “Sure, take it.” And I took it and I started making movies with it and I started being as creative as I could, and never once in my life did my parents ever say, “What you’re doing is a waste of time.” Never. And I grew up, I had teachers, I had colleagues, I had people that I worked with all through my life who always told me what you’re doing is not a waste of time. So that was normal to me that it was OK to do that. I know there are kids out there that don’t have that support system so if you’re out there and you’re listening, listen to me: If you want to be creative, get out there and do it. It’s not a waste of time. Do it. OK? Thank you. Thank you.

So this is another brand that I ran across at Pool Trade Show last month. Love Nail Tree. Super interesting and relevant pieces... I'm all about it. lol not only are the shirts really cool but there made of super soft cotton :-) Inspire, Challenge, Conversate. (even though conversate is not a word) lol

Miss Wax
So while I was at Pool Trade Show in Vegas last month I came across Miss Wax Jewelry at the Claw Money booth. I'm in love with her stuff. Sunglasses...kick ass earrings, rings, and necklaces!! I don't even have the words to describe her pieces...funky, cool, artsy, colorful, bold, hip-hop, jazz, EVERYTHING! That's what I think of when I think about Miss Wax. And her mix tape is off da chain too!

I Love Wildfox!!
Ok, so as if i wasn't in love with them before...I am even more in love now.
Ususally, I shop Wild Fox Couture via Spanish Moss Vintage, but this time i decided to take a look at their website. Check out their kick-ass video introduction to their website featuring their Spring2010 Collection entitled "Young Guns". Its inspired by the new biographical movie "The Runaways" based on the 1970s all-girl rock band The Runaways.
